If you are an Objectivist...or not...

...please take this survey.

• At what age do you first remember calling yourself an Objectivist?

• What event or series of events caused you to become an Objectivist?

• Did you understand in the beginning that Objectivists could not be altruistic?

• Do you recall believing before that age that you have altruistic thinking?

• If so, what was the source of that altruism thinking?  Church, parents, teacher, etc?

• Did you have some trouble rejecting altruism?  Please describe.

• How would you characterize yourself politically?  Conservative, liberal, libertarian, other?  Or you are not political at all.

• What, if any, books of Ayn Rand have you read?  Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, other fiction?  Other non-fiction?

• Do you support free market thinking?

• Are you religious?

• If you have read about Ayn Rand and Objectivism in a fair amount of detail, can you describe in a paragraph or two why you reject Objectivism as a personal philosophy?
